DAY 1: MARRAKECH - IMLIL - TIZI M’ZIK - TAMSSOULT

Begin your adventure by departing from Marrakech with Toubkal Experience, your experienced and knowledgeable guide for the trek. Upon arrival in Imlil (1,780m), we will begin our ascent towards the Azzadene Valley, passing through Tizi N'Mzik (2,450m) and Azib n'Tansoult sanctuary. Along the way, we will take a break to witness the stunning Ighouliden waterfalls. After a challenging but rewarding 6-hour climb, we will arrive at a mountain retreat at 3,000m. For those who prefer, an overnight stay is also available at Azib n Tamsoult at 2250m. Toubkal Experience provides both standard and premium lodging options for the Toubkal climbs.

DAY 2: TAMSSOULT - WATERFALL - AGLZZEM - TOUBKAL REFUGE

On day two, we will start our ascent to the Toubkal Refuge (3,207m) after a hearty breakfast. The 3,560m Aguelzim pass provides a difficult but exhilarating ascent out of the Azzadene Valley with panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains. After reaching the top, we will take a break and enjoy a provided lunch before continuing our journey. Overnight stay is at Toubkal Refuge, where hikers share bunk rooms or stay in tents to avoid harsh weather conditions.

DAY 3: REFUGE - MT. TOUBKAL - IMLIL - MARRAKECH

The final day of our trek begins with an early breakfast before embarking on a challenging climb to the summit of Mount Toubkal (4,167m). On a clear day, you will be rewarded with stunning views of the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara Desert. After taking time to appreciate the magnificent views, we will begin our descent via the refuge and back to Imlil on a well-trodden trail. The descent requires 8-9 hours of walking, up 900 meters and then down almost 2,500 meters to Imlil. At 6 p.m., you will be dropped off at your hotel in Marrakech.
