EXCURSION FROM MARRAKECH TO 3 VALLEYS IN PRIVATE EXCURSION WITH HOTEL PICK UP AND LOCAL GUIDE

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

Day trip starts at 9 am and finishes same day in the evening. Journey to Morocco’s Atlas Mountain area and spend the day exploring the Three Valleys with this private, full-day tour. Your guide plans out the whole day for you, including transportation and lunch, so that you can enjoy your explorations without worry. Go on a camel ride, and then stop for a cup of Moroccan tea and cake in Imlil Valley. Visit the home of a Berber family in Ait Souka to learn more about their everyday lifestyles, and end the day in Moulay Brahim near the Asni Valley.

DAY TRIP PROGRAM:

The excursion starts in 9 am from Marrakech and heading to Ourika a splendid Valley with its fortified houses, inhabited by Berbers population who have maintained intact their customs and traditions through time. Our first stop will be an extraordinary beautiful panoramic view of the green fields of vegetables and cereals , forage, and - of course - olives, which is a typical product of the Valley. Continuing on to visit a real Berber house to see how Berbers are living today , a mint tea break is offered ; After that we continue our way and stop at the cooperative of Argan oil where women hand-crack the Argan nuts and squeeze it in between two special stones , a technique they've used for centuries . Then drive by off-road through a mountain road where a small walking trek is recommended for 30 minutes for a chance to admire the beauty of the Atlas nature with its different colours, and numerous villages where clay-color homes still standing after many centuries; Then head to a small village called Sidi Fares located at an altitude of 1800 meters for lunch in a traditional Berber house that looks out on the High Atlas Toubkal mountain with a height of 4167 meters also known as the highest peak in north Africa. Then enjoy a delicious taste of the real Berber gastronomy: the menu includes a Berber tagine, couscous and fruits , then comeback to Marrakech via the Asni Valley and Tahnnaout village.
