WE ORGANIZE ATLAS MOUNTAIN BIKING IN MOROCCO & MARRAKECH BIKE DAY TRIPS WITH LOCAL GUIDES AND INSTRUCTORS

8 DAYS BIKING TRIP TO SAGHRO AND OASES IN ATLLAS MOUNTAINS FROM MARRAKECH AVAILABLE DURING WHOLE YEAR

TRIP DESCRIPTION :

We organize biking trips from Marrakech to Atlas. Almost every day you've the choice between a short and a long tour.

Day 1: Arrival : Arrival and transfer from the airport to a local hotel (including Dinner, breakfast as per itinerary).

Day 2: Transfer to Telouet and the start of our bike adventure : In the morning we depart in a minibus or 4x4 vehicle heading south. We cross the Atlas mountains Tizi-n-Tichka pass to explore Telouet. Here our Morocco mountain bike adventure starts. A track takes us through an amazing landscape of traditional Berber villages and oases. The track ends at the famous kasbah Ait Benhaddou from where we transfer you to Ouarzazate to local riad/hotel.

Day 3 : From the Rose Valley to the Talouite VALLEY: Today we transfer you to Kelaa Mgouna, known for it's annual rose festival. Our biking route takes us over a desert plateau toward the 1st pass of the High Atlas. A long climb brings us to the Talouite pass. Next we descend into the Talouite Valley, and we will enjoy the lunch on the bank of the river. Then we cross the river and follow the splendid valley of El Hot with its traditional Kasbahs.

Lodging with local residents. (short tour: 35 km, 2000 feet pos. , long tour: 42 km, 3024 feet pos.)

Day 4 : Dades Gorge to the Saghro mountains : We follow the splendid Dades Gorge until the city of Boumalne Dades. The long tour will cross the M’Goun river and we climb at Boumalne Dades to have a nice view over the oases. We cross over a large desert plateau to arrive in a small village at the feet of the Saghro Mountains. Lodging with a local resident.

Day 5 : biking to the canyons of Afourar via Tazazarte : Today we ride into the volcanic Saghro Mountains, and we climb to the Tazazarte Pass (2500 m). After lunch is in the pass, we will have a long descent and we set up camp as we enter the canyons opposite the impressive rock formation Bab n' Ali. Lodging in tents. (40 km, 2600 feet).

Day 6 : biking to Nkob via Bab n'Ali: Today we  leave the unpaved road and we enjoy biking a single track (mule path) through a scenic landscape. We continue to the impressive rock of Bab n' Ali, and on to the arid Amguis Valley. After lunch in Nkob we can add about 48 km by climbing 2 passes. Lodging at a traditional riad/Kasbah.

Day 7 : from N'Kob we transfer to Marrakech: After breakfast we drive by 4x4 or minibus to the splendid Draa Valley. From here we enjoy the bike ride for the last short stage on our Morocco Atlas mountain biking through one of the most beautiful valleys of Morocco. ( 30 km) After lunch we drive to Marrakech via the Tizi n-Tichka pass where and we check into a local hotel/riad.

Day 8 : Transfer to the airport: We transfer you from the hotel to the airport.
