2024 MARRAKECH PRIVATE TOURS, MARRAKECH DESERT TOURS, MARRAKECH SAHARA TOURS

AROUND MOROCCO TOUR 12 DAYS: TOUR FROM MARRAKECH TO SAHARA TOUR TO MERZOUGA SAHARA DUNES.

DAY 1: MARRAKECH

We organize privately guided tours departure Marrakech organised by Morocco Tours Toubkal Trek trusted travel company. We'll meet you at the airport and take you to your Riad/Hotel.

DAY 2: A FULL DAY EXCURSION TO MARRAKECH WITH A NATIVE GUIDE

Meet your local guide for a walking tour of the Medina, then have lunch in the heart of the ancient town before heading to Majorelle Garden, where you will spend the night in Marrakech.

DAY 3: MARRAKECH - AIT BEN HADDOU - OUARZAZATE

Pickup from the hotel to Ouarzazate over the famed Tizi-n-Tichka pass in the High Atlas Mountains at a height of 2,260m. This is how the first of our day travels from Marrakech to Fes begins. On your route from Marrakech to Ouarzazate, the entryway to the Sahara Desert, take in the fascinating and colorful surroundings as well as the Berber settlement. Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is on the road and is a well-known location, having been used in films like as "Lawrence of Arabia" and "Jesus of Nazareth."

DAY 4: OUARZAZATE - DADES - MERZOUGA DESERT

Today we continue through the Skoura palm grove and the Valley of the Roses towards Ouarzazate. This valley is a major producer of Moroccan roses and rose products. Travel through the unusual rock formations of Tamnalt Hills and Dades gorge, sculpted for millennia by the Dades River. Then we continue to Todra gorges. You can hike the canyons, which are roughly 300 meters high and a popular destination for mountain climbers. We continue to Erfoud and Erg Chebbi dunes in the Merzouga Sahara Desert. Enjoy night with dinner in Merzouga hotel or riad.

DAY 5 : EXPLORING SAHARA MERZOUGA DESERT

Explore the Merzouga desert. In the neighboring area, we will see Berber nomads and a palm-tree oasis. Overnight in desert hotel with dinner.

DAY 6 : MERZOUGA CAMEL TREK WITH NIGHT IN DESERT CAMP

Today we will visit the desert. We ride camels to the highest sand dunes in Morocco, Erg Chebbi. We'll also stop by a Berber household and a Khamlia village to listen to Gnawa music. We ride camels through the sand dunes to reach desert camp after lunch at Merzouga. We'll spend the night in a desert Sahara tent, listening to Berber drum music in the heart of the Sahara. In the desert, you will also be able to see the sunset and dawn. We spend the night in desert tents after a typical Moroccan meal.

DAY 7 : MERZOUGA - RISSANI - ERFOUD - ZIZ VALLEY - ERRACHIDIA - MIDELT

Get up early to catch the sunrise over the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, which might be the highlight of your trip to Morocco's desert. After breakfast, continue on to Rissani then Erfoud and we reach Midelt at the afternoon. You will be left off at the hotel with dinner in the late evening.

DAY 8 : MIDLET - ATLAS MOUNTAINS - AZROU - FES

After breakfast, departure towards Fez via the middle Atlas of multi-colored landscapes where the greenery is more dominant. We will arrive to Azrou and we explore Ifrane ski resort before we reach Fes in the evening where we will spend the night.

DAY 9 : FES SIGHTSEEING TOUR WITH A LOCAL GUIDE

After breakfast, we will spend the entire day seeing Fez (previously the spiritual and scientific capital of the Idrissids), which was established by Idris I (789) and his son Moulay Idris II (809). The medieval medina, with its medersas Attarine and Bou Iania, the fountain Nejjarine, the tomb Moulay Idriss, the mosque Karaouine, the palace and museum Dar Batha, and souks, may all be visited (tannery and ceramics).

DAY 10 : FES - VOLUBILIS - MEKNES - RABAT

Leave Fes for a tour to Volubilis, "the Roman remains," followed by lunch in Meknes and an overnight stay in Rabat. Explore the UNESCO world heritage of Meknes. Overnight in Rabat.

DAY 11 : RABAT - CASABLANCA - MARRAKECH

Today we travel to Casablanca, which is the kingdom's economic capital; we will spend a half-day exploring the Hassan II Mosque, Morocco's largest mosque with the world's second highest minaret, Mohammed V Square, Habous, Rik's Café (or we will film a few scenes from the famous Casablanca film). Then we depart for Marrakech in the late afternoon.

DAY 12 : MARRAKECH

Enjoy last-minute buying  souvenirs in Marrakech. Departure from Marrakech to airport, where our 12-day vacation from Marrakech comes to a close.
