MERZOUGA DESERT TOUR FROM MARRAKECH 6 DAYS: PRIVATE TOUR DEPARTURE MARRAKECH WITH SAHARA DESERT TOUR

DAY 1: MARRAKECH - TELOUET - AIT BENHADDOU - OUARZAZATE - DADES GORGES

We organize privately guided tours departure Marrakech organised by Morocco Tours Toubkal Trek trusted travel company. This is private 6-day tour from Marrakech and begins with a view of the Atlas Mountains as we snake through the 2260m Tizi N'Tichka pass to the Unesco World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, which has been on the UNESCO list and has been featured in films such as Gladiator and HBO's Game of Thrones. We'll then go to Ouarzazate, often known as "The Gate to the Desert," to see Atlas Film Studios and the Taourirt Kasbah, as well as the Valley of Roses, which is famous for its annual rose festival. Then we'll drive to Dades Gorges and its stunning gorges, where we'll spend the first night in a traditional riad or hotel, complete with supper and breakfast.

DAY 2: DADES GORGES - DRAA VALLEY - RISSANI - MERZOUGA

We'll continue tour from Marrakech stopping at Todra Gorge, a beautiful narrow canyon popular with adventure lovers. Then we'll travel via The Ziz Valley to Erfoud through Tinjdad, an oasis village known as the gateway to the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes and for its unusual fossils and manufactures. While there, we may go to a local fossil business that makes artists and house furnishings out of fossils. Then travel to Merzouga in the Sahara desert. When you get to the edge of the golden sand dunes, you change vehicles for Desert ships, camels, to sail into the wavy desert dunes, escorted by professional guides. Arrival to the well-equipped Merzouga Desert Camp, where we will spend the night in Berber-style tents. This amazing night will be enhanced with a one-of-a-kind and traditional starlit Berbere meal, followed by tribal music around a desert campfire.

DAY 3 : EXPLORING MERZOUGA DESERT

Today you will get the opportunity to explore the Merzouga desert. You'll have the opportunity to "do your own thing," with the option of camel trekking or exploring in the luxury of a four-wheel drive vehicle. We'll also go to Khamlia village, which is noted for its traditional Gnawa music. We will continue our 44-mile adventure to an abandoned tiny town named Mefes and its lead mines; this town has been and continues to be a source of various minerals since the French colonizers arrived. We pay a visit to a kind nomad family living behind the Merzouga Sahara desert dunes. Our night will be completed in a hotel in the Merzouga region.

DAY 4 : MERZOUGA - ZIZ VALLEY - MIDELT - AZROU - FES

After breakfast at the hotel, we'll travel through Rissani and its local souk, the region's largest market, to Midelt in the Atlas Mountains through Ziz Valley and we stop for lunch in a nearby restaurant before going to Azrou cedar forest and its Barbary Apes, and then on to Fes, where we'll spend the night in a local hotel. We will visit Ifrane city, which has gorgeous architecture, verdant parks, and is a very clean town. It is also a great destination for skiers owing to its large ski resort of Mishlifen. Ifrane is known as the "Switzerland of Morocco" because of its amazing attributes and location.

DAY 5 : FES EXCURSION WITH A LOCAL GUIDE - CASABLANCA

We'll begin the sightseeing tour with a local guide visiting Morocco's oldest city, weaving through its streets and tight alleyways. Fes is recognized as a scientific city and is home to the world's oldest university. It is divided into three separate parts: Fes el Bali, Fes el Bali, and Fes el Bali (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). Fes-Jdid, or "New Fez," is the oldest of the three, with over 8500 small lanes and streets backed by a high wall (home to the Jewish quarter), and the "Ville Nouvelle," Fez's most modern district established under French rule. The Tanneries, the Attarine museum, and the Moulay Idriss tomb are all included in the guided sightseeing tour. You'll tour a variety of cooperatives before taking in a stunning view of Fes' whole Medina. We'll drive to Casablanca once we finish the tour and eat lunch. Dinner and overnight in Morocco's most populous city, also known as the economic capital.

DAY 6: CASABLANCA - MARRAKECH END OF THE TOUR

Today, we will explore and see Casablanca's biggest attractions and sites, including the Hassan II Mosque, before traveling to the red city of Marrakech, where our 6-day tour from Marrakech concludes with a drop-off at your hotel or airport.
