SHARED 3 DAYS SAHARA DESERT TOUR FROM MARRAKECH: MERZOUGA DESERT TOUR ON BUDGET

Explore the greatest Erg Chebbi desert on a spectacular Safari adventure from Marrakech to Merzouga via Ait Ben Haddou. The breathtaking landscape of the Atlas Mountains rock formations of Todra Gorges may then be seen.

ITINERARY FOR GROUP 3 DAYS SAHARA DESERT TOUR

Merzouga desert tour, one of our most popular Morocco desert excursions, allows you to have an experience rich in Sahara scenery. Departing from Marrakech via the high Atlas mountains and lasting three days, the Merzouga shared desert tour from Marrakech will keep you occupied enjoying one scene after another.

Day 1 : Marrakech – Tizi -N-Tichka – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley/Gorges :

We will meet you at your (hotel/riad/bus station/airport). Then we'll set off from Marrakech to the Dades Gorges through the Tizi-n-Tichka Atlas pass, with panoramic views of the mountains and traditional High Atlas Berber communities. Then we will continue to Kasbah Ait Benhaddou to visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou, you will have lunch in Ait Benhaddou or Ouarzazate where you will visit Kasbah Taourirt and the Atlas Studios, then we will continue to Dades gorges through Roses and Dades valley, and we will spend the night in a riad/hotel in the Dades gorges.

 Day 2 : Dades Gorges – Tenghir – Todra Gorges – Tinjdad – Erfoud – Merzouga:.

After breakfast, we will travel from the Dades gorges to Merzouga's Erg Chebbi Sahara desert. Berber villages are scattered along the way, and we'll pass through Todra Gorges, Tenhir, Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud, where we'll feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet, and then we'll continue to a Hotel in Merzouga, where after relaxing for a few minutes you'll take some of your luggage in a small bag (just the necessary for the night in the desert) and leave the other luggage in the hotel, When we get at the camp, we will dismount the camels and stroll to the highest sand dunes for sandboarding and watching the sunset before spending the night in a camp (Berber nomad tents) with drumming music in the heart of the Sahara.

 Day 3 : Camel Trekking Back To Merzouga – Atlas Mountains – Back To Marrakech :

We will wake you up early in the morning to watch the sunrise on the dunes, then ride the camels back to Merzouga. After breakfast and a shower in the hotel, we will begin our journey back to Marrakech through various areas and Berber villages (Alnif, Tazarine, N'kob) until Ouarzazate, where we will take the same road back to Marrakech and arrive in the evening/night.

Enjoy a journey over the majestic Atlas Mountains and the Tichka Pass (2260 m), explore spectacular landscape in the center of the Atlas range We will make a stop at the kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, one of the most beautiful strongholds in southern Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage site.

HIGHLIGHTS:

• Cross the Atlas Mountains through the beautiful Tichka Pass, which is located at an elevation of 2260 meters.
• Visit the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, which has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
• Cross three valleys: the Rose's Valley, the Todra Valley, and the Dades Valley.
• Enjoy the enormous Merzouga dunes by camel while observing the beautiful color shift at sunrise or sunset.
