An Imlil day trip from Marrakech is a terrific option if you want to get away from the noise and bustle of the city. Imlil is a beautiful area to get some fresh air , go for tranquil walks, and see the waterfalls.

ITINERARY FOR GROUP IMLIL WALKING DAY TRIP

Imlil is a little village about 65 kilometers from Marrakech. It is situated at an elevation of 1800 meters above sea level at the foot of the Atlas Mountains. The settlement primarily functions as a hiking base because it is located at the base of Mount Toubkal, North Africa's highest peak at 4167 m.

EXPLORE IMLIL IN GUIDED TREK WITH LUNCH AND EXPLORING AREMD VILLAGE

In the Imlil area, explore the magnificence of the High Atlas foothills by automobile and on foot. Depart for the Agafay desert with your private driver for a wonderful morning crossing of the Agafay Desert. The Agafay Desert is famous for its peculiar light, dune-shaped hills, and vast horizon on the Atlas Mountains. Continue on to the Lalla Takerkoust dam, the cliff village of Aguergour, and the Kik plateau before arriving at the lonely valley that leads to the village of Imlil. On-site, mules and muleteers await you to enjoy the discovery walk: many viewpoints of the Imlil Valley will be available to you. You will also learn about the cultures of the region's fruits, such as walnut trees, cherry trees, and apple trees.

When you reach the summit of Armd, an authentic tajine meal awaits you on the patio of the village's highest family inn! Visit the Berber settlement of Armd, which has streets made of the same stone! Its residents will also gladly greet you.A once-in-a-lifetime trip in the heart of Berber country for families or groups of friends. Return to Marrakech along the wonderful Asni-Tahanahoute road. Explore the Berber nation of the Moroccan mountains and enjoy spectacular views of the snowy Atlas Mountains peaks on an excursion at the foot of the Atlas!

Make the most of your time in Marrakech with this full-day tour of the gorgeous Atlas Mountains, which covers area that is just inaccessible by public transportation. In a small group of no more than eight people, enjoy a traditional breakfast at an argan oil cooperative run by Berber women before hiking around Imlil Valley. Your tour includes round-trip transfers from one location to another.
